Is it possible ups might deliver before scheduled date?

I ordered a package 4/9/10 and it started shipping out today(Saturday) 4/10/10. I purchased 3 day select and the scheduled date is 4/14/10(Wednesday).|||I quite often receive my UPS parcels before the estimated delivery date (not always though), so it is indeed possible, especially if you are not far from the shipping origin point.
