Can u go straight to court and schedule a court date. with out going to walk-in court??

and if the guy who gave u the ticket didnt show up to court. is it dismissed?|||if the cop fails to show on a moving violation you do win.


I don't understand the other part of your question|||I think you are asking if you have to go to the general open court before you can get an actual trial court date? It can vary depending on the court system but if their ticket form is like the OR one it says your options on the back. one of ours (I think I remember it right) was mailing in a copy or going to the courthouse/county clerk with a not guilty plea and they would set a trial date.





and yes if you plead not guilty and the officer doesn't show up you are about 99.9% likely to have it dropped.
