Does the Scheduled Distribution Date for financial aid mean I get it that day on the paper?

My financial aid notice says I'm schedule to get my refund on a certain day,and i have to ask the date on the paper is that the date I get it, or is it the date it gets sent out?|||Distribution dates are the days that the check has to be postmarked to be sent out. Some universities will get it out prior, others will wait until that day. It all depends on the surplus of financial standing that the institution has, and if they are willing to send money to students prior to receiving it from the Department of Education.
