When you've had a c-section before and the second time they offer you to schedule a delivery date...?
What are the odds it goes as planned. I mean if you schedule lets 2 days before your due date, how often do peoples delivery go as planned where they can skip all the labor and contractions etc. I know everyone is different.|||Your question has been worded very clumsily. Are you asking what your chances are of going into labour before your scheduled c-section can be performed? No one can answer that; babies do what they want to do and don't tell the rest of us until the last minute.|||I dont think they would schedule it that close. Usually if it is scheduled they try to do it a week or so before you are due.|||Usually cesarean sections are done 2 weeks before you are due so that it will go as planned. Although, anything can happen and one could go into labor earlier. But then they would just do a c-section then.|||I have had 2 c-sections and will be having my 3rd in 25 days. My dr will not schedule me that close to delivery just in case. He makes sure to schedule it anywhere from 10-7 days ahead of time. My due date for this pregnancy was 2/19 but i will be having the baby on 2/10. With my second child he did the same thing and the delivery went off without a hitch. I didnt have one contraction with her and they did the spinal and out she came. I would definitely make sure that your c-section isnt scheduled with only a 2 day window. That is just way too close and baby may or may ot wait for that.|||Usually they schedule it a week or two early just to make sure it goes like it is supposed to. However babies have senses of humor and like to stir things up. :)
