When do doctors schedule the c-section date?

I know they do the actual c-section at 39 weeks but I was wondering if your having a scheduled c-section when they actually give you the date? I heard about 7 months is the normal time but i was wondering if its different?|||We discussed mine at 30 weeks and he verified I was on the schedule at my 32 week appt. I pushed a bit though for work reasons. I'm having mine at 38 and a few days. ;0)|||7-8 months|||The doctor is telling me in July. My due date is on Aug 25th,, I'm hoping for the 21st. When in july she will tell me, I don't know.
