If I apply for a written driver's exam today, how long will it take for the state dep't to schedule a date?

And how long should I expect to wait before actually taking the exam? If it matters, I'm over 23.|||its always better to go take the test at the D.P.S. office then you dont have to wait they will tell you if you pass there then you schedule a drive test if you pass take 15 dollars they charge for the test GOOD LUCK
